Health Guarantee Congratulations on your new puppy. We have spent the first weeks of his/her life providing them with endless love, care and attention just as you would. We always strive to provide you with the happiest and healthiest companion possible. All of our puppies have a 1-year genetic health guarantee. Later we will explain how you can guard your puppy’s health and extend this guarantee to 2 years. Our Guarantee covers the very unlikely event that the puppy develops Hip Dysplasia, Patella Luxation or Progressive Retinal Atrophy. In this unfortunate situation you will receive a puppy of equal or greater value. If you desire money back, understand that you must accept the replacement puppy and sell the puppy for cash. We will take on the responsibility for selling the replacement puppy for you. This guarantee will be terminated if the dog is injured by accident, neglect, abuse or if the dog is allowed to become overweight or the dog’s joints are overstressed at any time in the two-year period. An OFA Radiologist must determine HD and the results forwarded to our own veterinarian for review. OFA x-rays must be taken by a canine Orthopedic Specialist if HD is suspected. Any puppy that is returned for a treatable illness (such as coccidia, ringworm, etc.) or because you decide you don’t want them will be subject to a $200 dollar charge. This is to cover having the pet quarantined to keep any illnesses from being brought back into our kennel. This will also cover costs in re-selling the puppy. Extended Health Guarantee We at Pleasant Valley Doodles want to see you do everything possible to insure your new puppy remains strong and healthy for a long, long time. That is why we highly recommend you feed your dog NuVet health suppliments. We believe so strongly in NuVet that if you continue to give it to your puppy we will extend this health guarantee to two years. You must continue to use NuVet for at least the 2 years to qualify for the Extended Health Guarantee.
